  • Can the Lock Cylinders On the Global Link Locking Baggage Locks Be Changed
  • I am not aware of any way to change out the lock cylinders on the Global Link Locking Baggage Locks like part # GL34FR. That said, you can obtain just the latch portion without all the extra backing plates, the Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch part # 295-000078 which can be keyed alike.

  • Solutions To Add More Clearance For Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Jack Legs
  • I don't know what type of brackets were used on your 2022 Heartland RV Torque 5th Wheel but we carry the # LC349975, which can really only be installed at one height since they have lip that butts up against the bottom of the I-Beam. If clearance is the main issue here then another solution would be to raise the height of the trailer to gain a bit more clearance for the jacks. This can be done by replacing the leaf spring hangers with longer ones, using a correct track system # RR23QX,...

  • RV Observation System Recommendation for 2019 Heartland Elkridge 290RS
  • It would be really awesome if there was an RV observation system that could wire into the console display of your truck but at this time that's not something that's available, but your 2019 Elkridge 290RS is pre-wired for the Furrion system part # FOS43TASF which I recommend for you. This system will install very easily since the hard part of the install is already done on your trailer and since this kit has the best reception of the kits available it is the best way to go.

  • Longest Brake Line Kit For A Tandem Axle Trailer
  • I took a look at what we have, and the only thing I was able to find was the Hydrastar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # HS496-252, which measures 25' long. I also took a look at your 2019 Heartland Torque Travel Trailer Toy Hauler, and wanted to inform you that your brake line is only going from your farthest axle to the actuator or the coupler, not from the back of the trailer. At it's longest, I'd suspect that it is around 18', in which # 18TA-BLKIT would be perfect.

  • Fantastic Vent Ceiling Fan Won’t Open or Close
  • The most common problem when a fan like the MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent part # MA00-04500K will run the fan but won't open is the Replacement Rain Sensor for MaxxAir RV or Trailer Roof Vent Fans part # MA34FR . I would first attempt to clean the sensor really well and check for operation. If it works your good to go. If it doesn't use the replacement sensor listed here.

  • Options For A Black Tank Leaking Near The Discharge And Dump Valve
  • Using PVC (white pipe) between ABS fittings (black) is not usually an optimal setup on a trailer because of the movement during transport and colder temperatures can cause PVC to break more easily. The Oatey Purple is a PVC primer and not a glue so it wouldn't adhere correctly. Using a green transition glue as well as the purple primer on the PVC pipe could have worked however. Ideally they should have used black ABS pipe between the fittings and used ABS cement like LaSalle Bristol...

  • How to Determine Replacement Lead Leg For Landing Gear For Adding 2nd Motor
  • So while this is possible, what you will need to do is add another lead leg - as there isn't a way to add a motor to a follow leg - and disconnect the cross shaft. In order to do that you'll want to get a leg with the same dimensions. I know you mentioned your granddaughter's trailer was some distance away, but those measurements would be needed to ensure the trailer is even. Here are some options for when you do get the measurements: - 33-1/2" With 21" Drop Leg: Replacement Lead Leg for...

  • The Replacement 6-Point Controller for Lippert Components Ground Control 2.0 Electric Leveling System # LC56VR is the correct replacement for your 276452 controller. There are a few other controllers out there but they are for different models like the 3.0 system or 4 point instead of 6 point. In order to be sure everything works as it should you will need to replace your 276452 controller with the Replacement 6-Point Controller for Lippert Components Ground Control 2.0 Electric Leveling...

  • How Can I Carry A Fat Tire Bike On Rear Of My 5th Wheel
  • I am sure we can something that will work for your 5th wheel, but it will not be the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount, part # Y36FR. I just spent some time with the OnRamp on Thursday. Unfortunately, you will not be able to modify the trays to make them fit a 5" fat tire bike. The only way for that bike to fit is for the tires to ride on the trays, not in them. It is something that I would not recommend. You could use the Hollywood Racks RV Rider...

I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt RV Bumper Hitch # C19101.

  • Which Over-Under Conversion Kit For 2021 Heartland North Trail 22FBS W/ Tandem 3500 Axles
  • An over-under kit is a great option for gaining additional ground clearance to get into your steep driveway since they lift the trailer by the diameter of the axle plus the height of the leaf spring stack. Since your 2021 Heartland North Trail 29' Model 22FBS has 3500lbs axles you will need the the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 as 3500lb axles have a 2-3/8" diameter. I included a video of the # K71-384-00 for you to take a look at.

  • How Often Should Trailer Tires Be Replaced?
  • Your friends are pretty close. We suggest replacing tires every 3-6 years or every 10K-12K miles, which ever comes first. Most trailer tires do not get replaced due to mileage and instead age. If you are using tire guards to protect the tires from UV rays while being stored or storing the tire in a garage it will take a bit longer for dry rot to affect the tire. As soon as you start seeing dry rot you should go ahead and plan on replacing the tire. On the other hand if you do not cover...

  • Hitch Setup for Ram 3500 Longbed with a Cowtown Sleeper and Heartland Cyclone 4006 Toy Hauler
  • Since your new trailer with "tight-turn technology" will be at least as good as your old trailer for clearance, You could go with the Reese # RP34FR Sidewinder with 1621HD bolt pattern, and rated for 20,000 pounds. Any other option involves switching the in-bed 5th wheel hitch for a slider which will still not give you the room that the Sidewinder offers.
